Exercise Your Faith
The truest test of faith is to allow ourselves to truly be free.
2 Corinthians 3:17 reads, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom”. We say God lives in us, so we should be free.
Part of being free is allowing faith to overcome fear; allowing ourselves to trust in God; and allowing our faith to be bigger than our fear. We don’t know about you, but we are tired of failing in faith.
We are tired of having no faith stamina. We are tired of every time the enemy tries that same old, tired attack on our soft spot, we react the same old tired way! We fret. We question God and ourselves. We get anxious!
We must be overcomers and allow the tests, trials and tribulations to build our faith stamina, rather than wear out our running shoes!
Our faith is the most important thing we have, which is why Jesus specifically prayed for Peter’s faith (Luke 22:32). He did not pray that He would not fail, He prayed that His faith would not fail. Big difference!
So, if we are to be truly free, we must exercise faith. We must let our faith grow, mature and build. We cannot keep failing the same, old tired tests. The enemy does not have imagination, just persistence. But we have faith and faith is POWER.
In 2020, let’s develop faith stamina and stop failing the same old tests!
